Einstein famously said that the most important question we can ask ourselves is this – is the Universe friendly? For our response to that question shapes and frames the lens through which we look at, and perceive, the world. This blog loudly proclaims “yes” in answer to Einstein’s question, and it is through this lens that I will highlight stories from around the world – stories that uplift and inspire, and generally help us feel good about the world around us.
It is in recognizing our shared humanity that we bring out the best in ourselves and in each other. Since I left the corporate world at the end of last year, I have spent considerable time trying to remain focused on the good in the world. The variety of ways in which individuals can touch and profoundly impact the lives of others is unlimited. These are the stories I intend to share – stories of joy, hope, inspiration, and compassion; of people who are giving the best of themselves to somehow improve the world around them.
So welcome to Inspiration Wire! Comments, questions, and suggestions are always appreciated. I look forward to taking this journey with you.
